Services for Velma Lavalleur, 90, Winterset, who died at the Care Center North where she resided, were held Monday, Feb. 20 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial was at the Greencastle Cemetery at rurarl Colfax.

Born Dec. 6, 1898 at Greencastle in Jasper County, she was the daughter of Lewis and Della Conwell Lavalleur. She spent most of her lifetime in Winterset and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a sister, Beatrice Lavalleur of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
