MRS. MARY OSBORN DIED LAST FRIDAY

Winterset Woman Succumbed to Heart Attack; Rites Held Here Tuesday

Mrs. Mary Catherine Osborn, a life-long resident of Madison county died here last Friday at the age of 73 years. Death was due to a heart attack.

Mrs. Osborn was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Evans, and was born in this county on Feb. 2, 1869. She was married to Charles N. Osborn on Feb. 2, 1888. He died 15 years ago.

Mrs. Osborn was the mother of seven children, one of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are: Ersie H. Osborn of West Plains, Mo.; Guy S. Osborn of Glenn, Minn.; Mrs. Walter Cornelison of Osceola; Fenner Osborn of Winterset; Mrs. Ross Herman of Creston; and Mrs. Lyle Lorentz of Salem, Ore. She also leaves one sister, two brothers, 22 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
