MRS. HARRY CHRISTENSEN DIED HERE SATURDAY

46-Year-0ld Woman Had Lived Most of Life in Madison County

Mrs. Harry Christensen of near Winterset died here last Saturday at the age of 46 years.

Mrs. Christensen was the former Leta Florence Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bush, and was born near Winterset Feb. 15, 1897. Her mother died when she was two years old, and she was reared in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bush. Upon their deaths, she went to the home of her father and step-mother, until she finished her schooling.

She taught school in Madison and Adair counties until her marriage to Harry Christensen, which occurred Aug. 21, 1919. They were the parents of three sons.

In addition to her husband; she leaves her three sons, Raymond Christensen of the U.S. navy, Carl Christensen of this county, and John Christensen, at home.

Funeral services were held from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home Tuesday in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Methodist church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
