Marjorie V. Swan, 80, of Douglas, Wyo. died Sept. 24, 1997 at Michael Manor in Douglas. Memorial services have been held at the Douglas Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Moore officiating.
She was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Madison County, to Walter and May (Smith) Shearer. She was raised and educated in Madison County and graduated from Peru High School. On April 5, 1942, she married Warren R. Olson and moved to Douglas in 1951. After being widowed, she later married Allan Swan in Aug. of 1967. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband in 1966; her second husband in 1977; and two brothers.
Surviving relatives include one daughter, Patt Murray and her husband of Littleton, Colo.
