Services for Mrs. Tessie May Swallow, 93, Booneville, who died May 31 at the Earlham Care Center, were held Monday, June 4, 1984, at the Chamberlain Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter. Burial was at the Booneville Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 1, 1890 in Knoxville, the daughter of James and Ida Everett. She lived in Booneville most of her life and married Harry Swallow on Aug. 29, 1912 at Des Moines.
Survivors include a son, Wayne of Earlham; a daughter, Betty Geist of West Des Moines, a sister, Kathryn Miller of Des Moines; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
