Mary Jane Landolt, 71, of Winterset, died of cirrhosis of the liver on Nov. 10, 1997 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services are today, Nov. 12 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset. Father Ed Pfeffer will officiate the 10 a.m. ceremony, and burial will follow at the Winterset Cemetery.
She was born on July 31, 1926, in Thayer, to Leon and Caroline M. (Burkheimer) Dusenbery. On April 9, 1947, she married John Landolt in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and lived in Winterset 10 months coming from Arkansas. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.
Surviving relatives include her husband of Winterset; two sons, Barry Landolt of Dubuque, Gilbert Landolt of Cumming; three daughters, Pamela Warner of Norwalk, Deborah Bennett of Des Moines, Theresa Landolt of Des Moines; two sisters, Betty Case of Ellston, Marjorie McConnell of Glendale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
