Ruth Elizabeth Stuart, 56, of Sioux City died of an aneurysm Nov. 5, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 8, at the First Christian Church in Winterset with Pastor Bobby Dickerson officiating. Burial was at King Cemetery in Scott Township, Madison County.
Ruth Stuart was born Dec. 16, 1944, to Loyd Russell and Nellie Josephine (Wright) Stuart of Lincoln Township, Madison County. She attended school at North Ward, South Ward and Winterset High.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a sister.
She is survived by a son, Gary Eugene Edwards of Winterset; a daughter, Betty Jolene Good Mitchell of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four sisters, Dulsey Gray of Des Moines, Lois Moore (husband Carroll) of Carson City, Nev., Barb Jorgensen (husband Mark) of Harlan and Lora Stuart of Winterset; and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan.
