MRS. EDNA LANDERS DIED WEDNESDAY

Death Occurs at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola

Mrs. Edna Landers died last Wednesday, May 24, at Clark county Community hospital in Osceola. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Landers was the former Edna Haynes, daughter of Lassette and Elizabeth Haynes. She was born at St. Charles on Aug. 28, 1886.

On March 18, 1906, she was married to Perry H. Landers. They were parents of seven children, one son, Howard Landers, died in 1922, and another, Jack Landers, in 1960. Her husband died in 1958.

She leaves five children, Kenneth Landers of Thayer, Mrs. Ruth Davis of Lorimor, Mrs. Doris Huntsman of Afton, Mrs. Faye Wolfe of Murray, and Mrs. Mary Dalton of Creston.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Watts Funeral home in Lorimor, with the Rev. Walter Williams of Murray in charge. Burial was made in Union Chapel cemetery near Patterson.
