Gharald "Bud" Lampe, Winterset

Services for Gharald "Bud" Lampe, 79, Winterset, who died January 4 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Mon., Jan. 8 at the Van Meter United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marilyn R. Buchanan officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Bynumville, Mo., on July 1, 1910, he was the son of Henry and Ella Lake Lampe. He was married to Ruth Stalder on March 10, 1933 at Maryville, Mo., and had lived in Madison and Dallas counties since 1933 and engaged in farming. He was a member of the Van Meter Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Winterset; a son, Gary and wife Judy of Van Meter; brothers, George of Lubbock, Texas, and Lavern of Salisbury, Mo.; sisters, Leona Crumbaugh of Slater, Mo., and Louella DeLong of Osceola; and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
