JOHN MCKEE DIES IN LOS ANGELES

Death Came Sunday for Former Macksburg Resident

Macksburg (Special)--Macksburg relatives received word Sunday of the death of John McKee at his home in Los Angeles, Calif., early that day. Mr. McKee had been in poor health for several years, but his condition was not regarded as serious. Death came at 3 a.m. the morning of the 14th.

Mr. McKee was born and raised near Macksburg. Here he was married to Miss Lyda Wilson and they were the parents of three children. The family moved to California about six years ago, and have since resided there.

He leaves his wife, their two sons and a daughter, Lyle, and Mrs. Nellie Ritter of Los Angeles, and Dale McKee who is in Hawaii. He also leaves his aged mother Mrs. Elizabeth McKee, 93 years of age of Macksburg; two brothers and two sisters: L. C. McKee of Macksburg, Mrs. Chauncey Miller of Winterset, Mrs. Addie Smith of Spencer, and Roy McKee who lives in the west.

Funeral and burial services are being held in California.
