Henry Kukuk

Henry Kukuk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kukuk, died at Waverley, Kansas, December 21, 1920. He was born at the old Fred Kukuk farm near Kasson, where he grew to maturity, always being an obedient son and later a Christian gentleman and useful citizen. He was a student of Winterset high school from which he graduated in a class of young men and women, many of whom are now prominent Winterset citizens.

He was married to Miss Elva Alexander, daughter of J. M. Alexander of Monroe township, and together with the Alexander’s, removed to Kansas in 1908. He was an industrious and enterprising farmer and a citizen for whom all his neighbors had the highest respect.

He was suddenly afflicted with appendicitis from which he died after an illness of about two weeks. He leaves the widow and four children.
