Everett G. Krisch, Monrovia, Calif., died March 6 at Vets Hospital in the Los Angeles, Calif., area.
Mr. Krisch was the son of Jacob and Rosa Hayden Krisch and was born Nov. 3, 1918 at Peru. He graduated from Peru High School and lived in Madison County until he went into the service. He joined the Coast Guard for two years and was with the Merchant Marines for 26 years.
In 1947, he married Helen Elledge of Newton and the couple had three sons.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; sons, Tom, Everett Jr., both of California and Jerry of Arkansas; five grandchildren and four sisters, Cepha Olson of St. Charles, Grace Decker of Winterset, Nona Sheeley of Creston and Darlene Dooley of Runnells.
Upon his request he was cremated and buried at sea with a Los Angeles funeral home in charge of arrangements.
