JULIUS IMBODEN DIES IN COLORADO
Was Former Penn Township Resident Dies at Holly, Colo.
Julius Imboden, former resident of Penn township, died at his home near Holly, Colo., Tuesday, May 11, at the age of 76. Besides his two children, Helen and Neal, also one step-son, other near relatives are three brothers, Ed, Fred and Roy, and one sister, Mrs. Cora Boyle, all of this county.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Imboden moved from Holmes county, Ohio to Penn township in 1876. Julius, the eldest son, was one of the graduates of the old Dexter Normal academy. He later attended the Colorado State Teachers college at Greeley, Colo., and taught school in Iowa and in Colorado.
He later engaged in farming near Holly, Colo., where his wife died several years ago. His brother Ed, and sister, Mrs. Boyle, left Tuesday evening to attend the funeral and burial services at Holly.
