Young Winterset Resident Had Been in Poor Health Since Childhood
Beryl M. Farlow, young Winterset man, died at a hospital in Iowa City last Thursday at the age of 30 years. He had been in delicate health since childhood.
The young man's entire life was spent in Winterset. He was born here on July 26, 1912, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Farlow. He attended the Winterset schools and graduated from the high school here. He was a member of the Winterset Church of Christ.
After a long period of failing health, the young man was taken to a hospital in Des Moines more than a year ago, and from there to Iowa City, where his death occurred.
He is survived by his father; and three brothers, Ralph, Jr., Jack and Billie Farlow. His mother died Jan. 31, 1940, and two infant brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held last Saturday from Anderson's Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the local cemetery.
