MRS. SADIE HARDY SERVICES LAST WEEK

Crawford Township Resident for Many Years Died in Des Moines

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church here Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Sadie Hardy of Des Moines, a former resident of this community, who had lived on the same farm north of town for 39 years. The services were in charge of the Rev. Payne of Simpson Methodist church in Des Moines. Burial was made in the Montpelier cemetery.

Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac W. Hardy, and a daughter, Hazel. She is survived by three sons, Earl of Des Moines, Verlin of Chicago, Ill., and Raymond of Lincoln, Neb., and two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Schoen and Mrs. Bruce Fryer, both of Des Moines, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
