W. A. RUTH, FORMER RESIDENT IS DEAD

W. A. Ruth, a former resident of this community, died last Saturday in the hospital at Minot, N. Dak., according to word received by local relatives.

Mr. Ruth was reared near Winterset, coming here as a child, but moved from here to Dallas county about 50 years ago. From there he went to North Dakota, and his home in recent years had been at Sawyer in that state.

Funeral services were held Tuesday and burial was made in the Sawyer cemetery.
