Albert Kordick Rites Wednesday

Albert Conrad Kordick of 224 S. Second St., Winterset, died Sunday, June 15, at Winterset Care Center South at the age of 84. He had lived in Madison County since 1918.

Born on March 21, 1896, in Adair County, he was the son of John E. and Anna Reis Kordick. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Josephine Bindel on Aug. 29, 1929 at Mercier, Kan. She preceded him in death on Sept. 9, 1940. Mr. Kordick was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Among the survivors are five children, Wayne Kordick of Corning, Earl Kordick of St. Louis, Mo., Glenn Kordick of Winterset, Harold Zbierski of St. Joseph, Mo., and Eileen Moore of Winterset; 22 grandchildren; and a sister, Agnes Burg of Perry.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lorene Moore; three grandchildren, and a brother.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Gene Cunningham officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery at Bridgewater. The rosary was held Tuesday evening at Collins Funeral Home.
