She graduated from the public school there; and was married to Charles Blair on Nov. 24, 1920. They went to housekeeping on a farm two miles south of Macksburg, where their home had since been. They were the parents of three sons.

She was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church and the American Legion auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; the three sons, Merle Blair of the U.S. army, and Charles Blair, Jr., and Lee Blair at home. She also leaves three brothers, Walter and Leonard Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz., and Earl Thomas of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Madge Livingstone of Medford, Ore.
