Marian E. Miller, Des Moines

Funeral services for Marian E. Miller, 84, will be held Wed., Aug. 7 at 1:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church, Marshalltown. She died August 3 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.

Born in Sheffied, (Sheffield) she lived in Marshalltown until moving to Scottish Rite Park nursing home three years ago. She taught 17 years and worked with the Iowa State University extension office for nine years. She was a member of the Congregation Church, PEO, and during World War II served in the Women’s Auxiliary Volunteer Emergency Service.

Surviving are a brother, Irvin Edwards of Winterset and a sister, Eleanor Stegman of Salem, Ore.

Burial was a (at) Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown.
