Services for Vincent B. Klug, 80, Winterset, who died Friday, April 8 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Monday, April 11 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurice J. Schulte and Rev. Rodney Kneifl officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born at Wynot, Neb., on June 11, 1907, he was the son of Henry and Ida Bachman Klug. On April 6, 1932, he was married to Veronica Burbach at Bow Valley, Neb.
Mr. Klug did farm work and had lived in Winterset the past 42 living before in Greenfield, DeSoto and Van Meter. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Lee of Creston, Keith and Lyle, both of Des Moines, Sidney and Terry, both of Winterset, and Gayle of Woodward; daughters, Shirley Bush and Vicki Cameron, both of Winterset; brothers, Lee, Ralph and Dick, all of California; a sister, Natalie Pitze of Yankton, S.D.; 20 grandchildren and nine great-great-children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, and a sister.
