Services Held For Mrs. Grace Kivett

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 17 at the Collins Funeral Home for Mrs. Grace Winnifred Kivett, 85, of Winterset who died January 14 at Villa West. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery with Rev. Byron Ayers officiating.

Mrs. Kivett, who was born at Macksburg, on September 4, 1893, was the daughter of Andrew and Charlotte Ann Berry Busch. On December 25, 1919 she was married to Eugene M. Kivett, who survives, at Macksburg, and they were the parents of three children.

Mrs. Kivett, who was a homemaker, moved to Winterset from Adair County in 1971 and was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband; a son, Charles E. Kivett of West Des Moines; two daughters, Wilma Davies of Upper Nyack, New York and Eva Kivett of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Stanley Busch of Macksburg and Carl Busch of Greenfield; a sister, Gladys Augustine of Greenfield; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
