Lee H. Kivett, a lifelong resident of Madison county, died Aug. 31 at Care Center North in Winterset. He was 87 years of age.
A son of William H. and Maggie Givan Kivett, he was born in this county on April 7, 1894.
He was a retired farmer and minister, and a member of Wesley Chapel Church in Webster township.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer, and a sister, Anna Kivett.
Surviving are a brother Eugene of Norwalk; and a sister, Grace Silverthorn of Merced, Calif.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hunter officiating. Burial was in Kivett cemetery northwest of Macksburg.
