March 1973Ray Kitt of Orient Dies
Ray Kitt of Orient died Tuesday, March 20, at a nursing home in Creston. He was 85 years of age.
Mr. Kitt was a retired employee of the C.B.&Q. railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Kitt; three daughters, Mrs. Gene Trost of Creston, Mrs. Joe Eagan of Creston, Mrs. Lucille Harestad of Tuscon, Ariz.; and four sons, George Kitt of Richmond, Calif., Raymond Kitt of Springdale, Wash., Harry Kitt of Georgetown, Mass., and Clarence Kitt of Bayard, Nebr.
He also leaves 41 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Erwin of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Stella Wolverton of Great Falls, Mont.
Funeral services were held Saturday from St. Mark's Catholic Church in Orient, with the Rev. E. J. Klein of Greenfield officiating. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
