Thursday, October 06, 1955Lilly Lenore Dudney was born in Truro, Ia., Dec. 6, 1884. She grew to womanhood in Madison county, Ia., and was united in marriage to Wilbur V. Mease in Winterset, Ia., March 22, 1905.
The couple lived in Iowa for seven years and then moved to Custer county. They moved to their present farm in March, 1918 and have resided there since.
The deceased was a church member nearly all her life and was a member of the Berwyn Methodist church at the time of her death.
Wilbur and Lilly Mease were the parents of two sons, Richard and Willis, both born on their farm southeast of Broken Bow.
Mrs. Mease had been in poor health for the past several years and died Sept. 26, 1955 at a Broken Bow hospital. In addition to her husband, two sons, four granddaughters and many relatives and friends, she leaves to mourn her passing a sister, Mrs. Flossie in Seattle, Wash.

Page 2FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN NEBRASKA
Mrs. Wilbur Mease of Broken Bow, Nebr., a native of Madison county died Monday, Sept. 26, at a hospital in Broken Bow as result of a heart attack. She was 70 years of age.
Mrs. Mease was the former Lilly Dudney, daughter of Ashley and Ella Dudney. She was born and spent her early life in Madison county. She and her husband observed their Golden Wedding anniversary last March.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Richard Mease of Canton, Mo., and Willis Mease of Richlands, N. C. four granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Flossie Kirk of Seattle.
Funeral services and burial will be held this Thursday at Broken Bow.
