Rev. L. B. Davis of this city, died at his home on Tuesday morning, April 30, at 2 o'clock. Mr. Davis was an honored citizen, a noble patriot, and an upright Christian man. At the time of his death he was chaplain of Pitzer Post, no. 55, G. A. R.

The funeral took place Wednesday under the auspices of the Grand Army.
