VIRGIE TRASTER, Winterset

A funeral service was held Monday, March 29, at Collins Funeral Home for Virgie Traster, a lifetime resident of Madison county, who died March 26, 1982, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was 86 years old.

Born Feb. 24, 1896, she was the daughter of William and Margaret Hicks Neal.

On Nov. 27, 1920, she married Lou Traster in Gering, Nebraska. Mr. Traster died in 1969.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and a brother.

Survivors include a niece, Margaret Coll, and a nephew, Willie Neal, both of New York.

Rev. Charles Updike officiated at the funeral service. Burial was in Winterset Cemetery.
