Services for Merle L. Percy, 62, who died at his home in Casa Grande Valley, Ariz., were held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church there and entombment was at Valley of the Sun Memorial Cemetery in Chandler, Ariz.
Mr. Percy was born June 9, 1922, in Madison County and farmed in Jackson township. He lived in the Casa Grande area for eight years and owned the Thrifty Car Wash and the Boulevard Car Wash. At one time, he operated a general store at Pitzer.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Larry of Casa Grande; daughters, Judy Clarkson of Phoenix and Jean Ganoe of Casa Grande; a brother, Glen Percy of Hemet, Calif.; and sisters, Fern Doyle, Casa Grande, and Helen Callison, Winterset; and eight grandchildren.
