DOROTHY TRACY Death at 53

A resident of Winterset and Madison County for a length of 40 years, Dorothy V. Tracy, 53, died Wednesday, November 10, 1976, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Her home had been in Norwalk during the past eight years.

A native of Mt. Etna, Iowa, Mrs. Tracy was a housewife and affiliated with the Airport Baptist Church of Des Moines. Funeral services from there were conducted Saturday, November 13, at 1 p.m., with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Tracy is her husband, George of Norwalk, two sons, George of Ankeny, Iowa, Edward of Norwalk; one daughter, Marilyn of Norwalk; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Herrick of Wray, Colorado; four brothers, Orville Herrick of Omaha; Vernon Herrick of Wray, Colorado; Melvin Herrick of Cumberland, Iowa; Elmer Herrick of Fleming, Colorado, and four grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Gallaway-McLaren Funeral Home, Norwalk.

Services Held Saturday for Dorothy Tracy

Services were held Saturday afternoon a the Airport Baptist Church for Dorothy Tracy, 53, of Norwalk, who died Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medica Center, Des Moines. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Mount Etna, Mrs. Tracy lived in Norwalk for eight years and prior to that had lived in Winterset and Madison County for 40 years. She was a member of the Airport Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband George; two sons, George of Ankeny, and Edward of Norwalk; a daughter, Marilyn of Norwalk; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Herrick of Wray, Colo.; four brothers, Melvin Herrick of Cumberland, Orville Herrick of Omaha, Neb., Vernon Herrick of Wray, Colo., and Elmer Herrick of Fleming, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Airport Baptist Church.

Jessie and Cleo Roy went to Norwalk Saturday to attend the funeral of their sister-in-law, Mrs. George Tracy with burial in the Winterset. Cemetery.
