W. M. TOTMAN, Baxter

Funeral services for W.M. "Mary" Totman, 96, were held Tues., Sept. 23 at Central Christian Church, Marshalltown. She died of cancer September 21, 1991.

Born in Patterson, she lived in Winterset most of her life, moving to Baxter two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, William McClurg of Venice,Fla. and B. Miles McClurg of Marshalltown; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown.

Coordinator's note: Transcribed as published, per her Iowa Delayed Certificate of Birth, her maiden name was "Mary Bird Miles". Per her 1916 Madison County Marriage Record, her fist husband was Samuel Orville McClurg. There are no vital records showing any of her names beginning with a "W".
