MRS. L. J. KERR DIES IN COLORADO

Mrs. L. J. Kerr, a resident of the Winterset community most of her life, died Feb. 24, at a nursing home at Longmont, Colo. She was 88 years of age.

Mrs. Kerr was the former Cordis Maybelle Hall, daughter of Madison and Sarah Hall. She was born in Washington, Ia., Feb. 24, 1880. She came to Winterset as a child, with her parents, and this community remained her home the greater part of her life.

She was married Feb. 19, 1902, to Leroy J. Kerr. They moved to Colorado in February of 1962. Her husband's death occurred April 1962.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church in Golden, Colo.

Mrs. Kerr leaves a daughter, Mrs. Hallene McAdow of Golden, Colo.; a son Leroy J. Kerr Jr. of Yucaipa, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, Claude Hall of Long Beach, Calif.
