W. F. TOBIN Of St. Charles Dies

William F. (Bill) Tobin of St. Charles died last Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1972, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Tobin had lived at St. Charles since 1955. He was a native of Stuart, where he was born Nov. 20, 1905, a son of Charles and Nettie Rose Tobin. He moved to Warren county in 1938.

He engaged in General trucking for many years, and was a member of the St. Charles Lions club.

He leaves his wife, Evelyn of St. Charles; four children, Mrs. Dean Graham of Des Moines, Jack Tobin of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Carl Nehring of St. Charles and Mrs. Gale Palmer of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Nell James of Stuart, Mrs. Ethel Schlarb of Wilmington, Calif., Mrs. Marie Spethman of Omaha and Mrs. Irene Hecker of Palm Springs, Calif.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Miller of St. Charles and the Rev. Fr. Hillary Gaul of West Des Moines. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
