JOHN F. NIENDORF DIED ON MONDAY

Jefferson Township Resident Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack

John F. Niendorf, a life-time resident of Jefferson township, died suddenly Monday at his home there of a heart attack. He was 69 years of age.

Mr. Niendorf had been loading heavy machinery at the home of his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Niendorf where he lived. He was stricken after returning to the house.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. George Marquardt and Mrs. Richard Kneuper of Van Meter, and Mrs. Mary Roberts of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two brothers, Herman Niendorf of Jefferson township and Louis Niendorf of Clarinda.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Lutheran church in Jefferson township.

(Burial was made in the Trinity Lutheran cemetery)
