Mildred I. Kellogg, Ames

Services for Mildred Irene Kellogg, 64, Ames, who died at her residence, were held Feb. 21 at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Jay Schlenker officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born March 9, 1924 in Madison County, she was the daughter of Elias and Esther Hermon Pritchard. She attended De Soto schools and graduated from Winterset High School in 1943. She was a telephone operator from 1942 to 1947 and a homemaker. She was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church and moved to Ames in 1948.

She married Bruce Kellogg in Winterset in November of 1921. He survives along with sons, Charles of Manson and Jeffrey of Ames; daughters, Alice McDufee of Ames and Cheryl Dunkin of Gilbert; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles.
