Floyd Keesey, Winterset

Floyd Keesey, 83, died October 14, 1993 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held at Collins Funeral Home Sat. Oct. 16, 1993 with the Rev. Kenneth Belz officiating. Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mr. Keesey was born March 18, 1911 in Redfield to Charlie and Alta Brower Keesey. He married Helen Marie Fundinger on August 17, 1936 at the Lutheran parsonage in Van Meter. He farmed all his life in Madison County. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers and five sisters.

Surviving relatives include his wife; two daughters, Shirley Addy and husband Ronnie; Joan Hardy and husband Ray of Winterset; one brother Lyman Keesey and wife Helen of Redfield; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
