A funeral service was held Wednesday, July 7, at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines for Kenneth C. Kay of Des Moines, who died July 5 of a stroke at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He was 55 years old.
Born in Patterson, he lived in Des Moines for the past 35 years. He was an elecronic technician for AT&T and a member of the Iowa Sportsman Federation, National Rifle Association, Pioneer Gun Club and Communication Workers of America.
He was a veteran, serving in the navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta; two daughters, Ronda Little and Julie Lewis, both of Des Moines; and one grandchild.
Burial was in McGinnis Cemetery, Patterson.
