George W. Wright, 80-year-old former Madison county resident, died in Des Moines June 22. His death ended a five year illness.

Mr. Wright was a life-long resident of Iowa, and had lived in Des Moines for the past 38 years, where he worked as a carpenter and contractor.

He is survived by his wife; and four daughters, Mrs. Ishaemel Ramirez of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Mrs. Mary Grimm of Arlington, Va., Mrs. E. B. White of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. D. F. Prunty of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held June 25 in Des Moines, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
