Marjorie Ann Jones, 50, of Winterset died of cancer July 8, 1998, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 11, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Bishop Mark Newman officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Marjorie Jones was born Jan. 30, 1948, in Des Moines to Earl and Murrell (Davis) Lehman. She married Charles Jones on June 17, 1966, in Des Moines. Marjorie was employed by American Abstract as an abstracter. A resident of Winterset since 1933, she also was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, L.D.S.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband; her mother of Winterset; one son, Matthew (wife DeAnna) of Des Moines; one daughter, Jacqueline Johnson (husband Ralph) also of Des Moines; two brothers; four sisters; and one grandchild.
