MARGARET J. THRAILKILL, Earlham

Services for Margaret J. Thrailkill, 56, Earlham, who died of a heart ailment May 7, 1986, at her home, were held Saturday, May 10, at the First Presbyterian Church at Earlham. Burial was at the cemetery in Earlham.

Mrs. Thrailkill was born in Des Moines and was a homemaker.

Survivors include five daughters, Becky Goldin of Mount Vernon, Diane Jackson of Glenwood, Dodie Davis of Redfield, Jennifer Smith of Des Moines and Melissa Thrailkill of Earlham; a son, John of Des Moines; a brother, Wilbur Moore of Winterset; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Margaret Jean Thrailkill was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 7, 1930, the daughter of Bruce A. and Lois Sulgrove Moore. She married John Thrailkill on July 3, 1948. She died of heart failure May 6, 1986 at her home at Earlham.

A homemaker, Margaret lived her entire life in the Earlham community.

Survivors include six children, Becky Goldin of Mt. Vernon, John of Des Moines, Diane Jackson of Glenwood, Dodie Davis of Redfield, Jennifer Smith of Des Moines, and Misty who lived at home; a brother, Wilbur Moore, of Winterset; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 10, 1986 at the First Presbyterian Church, Earlham, Iowa, with the Reverend Gladys Priest officiating. Organist was Donna Fastle. Pallbearers were Donnie Algreen, Bill Bond, Bill Bond, Jr., Chuck Jurgensen, Max Mathis and Jim Vanande. Honorary pallbearers were Jay Nevitt and Nelson Bond. Interment was in Earlham Cemetery, Earlham, Iowa.
