Harold Johnson, Winterset

Harold Johnson, 59, of Winterset, died June 23, 1994 at the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines. Funeral services were held June 25, 1994 at Collins Funeral Home with Brother Jess Lumn officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 5, 1934 in Brewton, Ala., to Aaron M. and Ina V. (Cates) Johnson. He was a retired cattleman and farmer. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War during 1951.

He was preceded in death by his father; step-father; and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his mother, Ina V. Crouse of Winterset; and one uncle, E. C. Cates of Mobile, Ala.
