Llyra Price Thompson, 92, of Kent, Ohio, died Feb. 1, 1995 at the nursing home at Kent. The cremains will be scattered on the desert of the Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Ariz.
She was born near Winterset on March 21, 1902 to L. V. and Edna (Johnson) Price. She married Noel Thompson in Aug. 1928. After her husband passed away, she moved to Hudson, Ohio to live with her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter-in-law; and one brother.
Surviving relatives include one son, Loel of Hudson, Ohio; one sister, Norma Price Dunn and husband Howard; one sister-in-law, Mary V. Price of Clarinda; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
