Kenneth Andrew Thompson, 87, of New Market, Iowa, died of natural causes Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27 at Ritchie Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemeery in Gus, Iowa.
Kenneth was born March 25, 1910, to Charlie and Lizzie Combs Thompson near New New Market in Taylor County. He attended counry school and worked as a truck driver before working on the family farms near Lenox, Earlham and New Market. He married Gladys Howes Aug. 1, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a nephew.
He is survived by his wife; a brother, Darrell E. Thompson of Clarinda; five nieces, four nephews; two sisters-in-law; and many friends.
