MRS. EARL THOMPSON Of Winterset Dies

Mrs. Earl Thompson of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 1963, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 73 years of age and had undergone major surgery 10 days prior to her death.

Mrs. Thompson was the former Beatrice Alma Guye, daughter of Albert D. and Maria L. Guye. She was born in this county Sept. 12, 1890.

She was married May 18, 1916, to Earl W. Thompson. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1960.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian church at Winterset, and the Eastern Star lodge.

Nearest surviving relatives are a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elbridge Guye of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
