ELDON JESSUP DIED THURSDAY

Eldon H. Jessup of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Thursday, Nov. 28 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 79 years of age.

Mr. Jessup was born in this county Feb. 4, 1889, a son of William and Rosina Deming Jessup. His active life was spent in farming, but he had been retired in recent years.

He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church.

Mr. Jessup is survived by his wife, Grace; a son, Earl Watts of Colorado; a brother, Frank Jessup of Winterset; and a half brother, Everett Jessup of Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Richard Jones of the Church of God. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
