Grace Jessup of Winterset Dies

Mrs. Eldon Jessup of Winterset died Thursday, March 30, at Memorial hospital here. She was 75 years of age.

Mrs. Jessup had been a resident of Madison county the last 60 years. She was the former Grace Benson, daughter of Albert and Margaret Hoover Benson. She was born at Shaller, Iowa on Oct. 1, 1896. She was married at Winterset on March 5, 1931 to Eldon Jessup. His death occurred Nov. 28, 1968.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are a step-son, Earl Watts of Denver, Colo.; and two brothers, Martin Benson of Madrid and Marion Benson of Kansas City, Mo.

Seven brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Richard Jones. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
