Services for Dorothy Jensen, 91, Winterset, who died Nov. 20 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held at the Collins Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 23, with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Graveside services were performed at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery at Elk Point, S.D. with the Rev. Gene Eidsness of Elk Point officiating.

Born on June 6, 1896 at Fairfield, she was the daughter of Horace and Mina Goodban Fulton. She was a retired nurse and homemaker. She was married to Joel Wennblom on Feb. 20, 1935 and to Harry Jensen on Jan. 18, 1962.

She resided here the past 11 years, coming from Akron, Iowa. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset, and was a graduate of Fairfield High School and the Methodist School of Nursing at Omaha.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Anne Porter of Winterset; a sister, Florence Richter of Chula Vista, Calif.; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, two daughters, a son, three brothers and four sisters.
