Mary Young Jennings, Winterset

Funeral services for Mary Young Jennings, 89, were held Sat., Nov. 28 at Ellston United Methodist Church. She died Sun., Nov. 25 at Bethesda Care Center of a respiratory infection.

Mrs. Jennings, a homemaker, was born in Grand River and lived in Ellston most of her life until moving to Winterset 5-1/2 years ago. She was a member of the Ellston United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, David and Norman, both of Ellston; a daughter, Ione Wight of Winterset; two sisters, Naomi Phillips of Des Moines and Addie Kelback of Sedro Wooley, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Grand River Cemetery, Ellston.
