SHELBY and STEPHEN THOMAS, Winterset

Shelby Elaine Thomas, 2, and Stephen Craig Thomas, 1, both of Winterset, died Feb. 15, 1996 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Waukee. Funeral services were Feb. 19 at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. The Rev. John Shaull officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Shelby was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on March 10, 1993 and Stephen was born in Des Moines on Dec. 30, 1994. Parents of the children are Craig and Connie Thomas of Winterset. Both children were lifetime residents of Winterset and members of the First Baptist Church in Winterset.

They were preceded in death by their grandparents, Glenn and Anita Thomas.

Surviving relatives include their parents; one brother, Dylan Thomas; grandparents, Mary and Lonnie Haag; and two uncles Glynn Allen Haag and Kevin Lane Thomas.
