ROY F. THOMAS Is Stricken Fatally

Roy F. Thomas, an employee of the Madison county Memorial hospital at Winterset for the past 18 months, died suddenly at his home here Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1953. Death resulted from a heart attack. He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Thomas was a native of Stuart, where he was born Nov. 8, 1885. Before coming to Winterset he had lived for many years at Perry. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Perry.

His first wife, and a son preceded him in death. He is survivved by his present wife; two daughters, Mrs. Allen C. Blakeley of Oberammergau, Germany and Mrs. John Foley of Clinton; six sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon, from the Workman Funeral home in Perry, and burial will be made there.
