MRS. ADDIE THOMAS Dies At Creston

Mrs. Mary Adlean (Addie) Thomas, formerly of the Macksburg community, died Jan. 17, 1969, at the hospital in Creston. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Thomas was born near Macksburg May 4, 1895, a daughter of Thomas and Rose Grandfield Porter. She was married Feb. 16, 1915, to Orin Thomas, who survives her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Charles M. Thomas of Des Moines; two grandsons, four great grandsons; three brothers; and two sisters, including Mrs. Ona Mobley of Lorimor.

Funeral services were held Jan. 20 from the Creston Methodist church, with burial in Moon cemetery near Macksburg.
