Nellie Jenkins Died Saturday

Mrs. Nellie M. Jenkins of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison County, died Saturday, February 24 at Madison Manor North. She was 66 years of age.

Mrs. Jenkins was the former Nellie Holton, daughter of Jesse and Mary Jane Kalar Holton. She was born in Madison County, January 7, 1907. She was married at Creston on October 6, 1923 to Elmer Jenkins who survives her.

She was a member of the Pentacostal Church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Pat Harrison of Winterset. Another daughter, Mrs. Junita Bryan preceded her in death.

She also leaves three grandchildren; a great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Young of Creston.

Funeral services were to be held this Tuesday from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Newton M. Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist Church here. Burial was to be made in Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
